Manufacturers Rep-Industrial Equipment

We are currently seeking professional equipment representatives that service the food manufacturing industry for North America in the following areas:

  • Southern California
  • Northern California
  • Denver
  • Chicago

Representative responsibilities will include close collaboration with Electro-Steam to:

  • Generate and follow up on new customer leads
  • Convert leads to customers and close sales deals
  • Schedule and conduct new product demonstrations at customers’ facilities (very Important)
  • Perform professional on-site training events
  • Respond to and anticipate customer needs,
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Represent Electro-steam at regional trade shows and networks for new customers.

Qualities needed:

  • Experience with common hand tools – as some installations of accessories will be necessary.
  • Extensive training and support will be provided by Electro-Steam

Mechanical Design Engineer

Manufacturer of stationary and mobile equipment for mixing blasting agents for the mining and construction industry.

The position will be involved with all aspects of the business – Process design, Engineering, Assembly, Sales, Service and Equipment Start Up in the Field. This is a hands on position and a strong mechanical aptitude is a must. Candidate will be given extensive training. Applicants will be drug tested. EOE

Job Description

  • Engineering and design of mixing equipment including bill of materials, parts lists and mechanical drawings.
  • Communication with customers concerning new equipment and replacement parts.
  • Communication with customers solving equipment problems.

Candidate Qualifications

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering – Must Have

* Sheet Metal fabrication a plus

  • Strong AutoCad is essential. Solidworks Knowledge – helpful

* Strong Organizational, time management and administrative skills

  • Physical capabilities – ability to sit and stand for long periods of time, ability to squat, bend and kneel.

* The ability to work with customers in a sales and service setting

  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to pass random drug testing

Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

  • Engineering and design of mixing equipment including bill of materials, wiring schematics, parts lists and owner’s manuals, P&1D diagrams, mechanical drawings and control systems.
  • Final assembly of equipment in an industrial setting.
  • Communication with customers concerning new equipment and replacement parts.
  • Provide technical support for customers.
  • Occasional Travel to customers location for startup and commissioning (travel may be international – ability to get a passport a must).

Candidate Qualifications

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong Mechanical aptitude required
  • Strong AutoCad or Solidworks Knowledge – Must have
  • Experience with process engineering a plus
  • Experience with industrial controls, hydraulics, pneumatics and process plumbing a plus.
  • Strong Organizational, time management and administrative skills
  • Candidate will receive extensive on-the-job training involving hands on assembly of equipment.
  • Physical capabilities – ability to sit and stand for long periods of time, ability to squat, bend and kneel, no aversion to hot or cold climates.
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to work with customers in a sales and service setting
  • Spanish is a plus
  • Ability to pass random drug testing
